Summary

This book presents a simple narrative alongside vivid pictures depicting a Black family’s journey to the March on Washington that took place on August 23rd, 1963. The book is told from the perspective of a Black family and describes, in no more than one sentence per page, what they did before, during, and after the March on Washington.
